No, this is not a morose posting about death and how we all have a limited amount of time on this earth. It’s just an opportunity to share some scenes from the lovely Corniche in Ras Al Khaimah, a favourite spot for a morning walk for many in this city that’s now my home.

Which days are numbered? Those winter days that are cool enough and breezy enough to enjoy a good stroll from one end of the Corniche to the other, without becoming uncomfortably hot. So I recorded some moments during a recent walk aka a thinking session. I hope there’ll be more days like this before we all slip into the summer routine of home a/c to car a/c to office a/c to mall a/c … Our winter days are numbered. This morning, the thermometer in my car read 40 degrees for the first time, and it was only 10am.
